Lap Band Diet

I love my lap band every time I get on the scales which is now once a month. Come the 18th of each month and I hop on the scales to see how I'm travelling weight wise. Why the 18th? Because my birthday is the 18th and to me it's purely symbolic. We all have our little foibles and I guess that's one of mine.

I only have problems with my lap band when I do the wrong thing. Like misssing a meal or getting too hungry and then eating too fast and not chewing my food properly. Then I have to throw up to clear away the excess and this is not good for me...quite stupid behaviour, actually.

What I know I should be doing if I have ever missed a meal or got too hungry is to make myself a Optifast shake for my next meal and not try to eat something like white bread. White bread is not good for me (or for anyone actually!) and it should always be grains or wholemeal bread.

I'm human and I still do the wrong thing....so I guess I have to stop thinking "I'll be OK..." and really start to take proper care of myself again.

Look after ourselves because chances are nobody else will!
